I’m a photojournalist and photographer with over 30 years of experience, focusing on personal projects that capture powerful stories of those facing injustice or getting steamrolled by corporate nonsense and bureaucracy. I used to focus on environmental issues, but since 2020, I’ve shifted my interests and objectives.
Though I work independently and freelance, I frequently collaborate with news media and magazines—though not as often as I’d like. The market for photojournalists, along with the ethics that once defined the profession, has deteriorated over the years.
I’m available for hire for events, weddings, and commercial shoots because, let’s be honest, photojournalists don’t exactly swim in cash. Being a photojournalist means wearing many hats—you’re a photographer, a video editor, a wedding photographer, a zine publisher… and well, you get the idea.
I’m pretty flexible with my schedule. I cover the continental United States and Canada (no tariffs), but I’m willing to travel anywhere for the right compensation, depending on the project and duration. Reach out, and let’s see if my style, personality, and skills align with your project.
